In-Store Purchase
A curated collection of my work can be viewed and purchased at Paxton Gate in Portland Oregon and Collective Form in Los Angeles California.
Color/Size/Appearance
One should expect some natural variation within all insect species. Indeed, because our insects are obtained from nature, no two specimens will be precisely identical and photos of insects on our website will not precisely match framed insects you may receive. This is true even when ordering multiple items of the same species at the same time. Our artwork (as well as virtually any other) will often appear differently in different photos due to factors such as varied lighting conditions.
Care
To reduce the chance of color fading, please avoid hanging artwork near direct sunlight. Placing your frames in direct sunlight is not recommended since it is antithetical to the long-term preservation of any artwork. If kept at low light, butterfly and insect taxidermy has been proven to fade at half of the rate compared to being in bright conditions. Low humidity is also important, a cool and dry environment will help the preservation of the art piece.
If necessary, gently wipe surfaces with rubbing alcohol with either suede chamois or microfiber cloth. To avoid fingerprints on frame and plexiglass, it is recommended that gloves be used whenever frame is handled.
Custom orders/Commissions
Custom orders and privately commissioned pieces are welcome. Please send us an email, let us hear your ideas and we will try our best to collaborate and accommodate your special request.
